Former Himachal CM Shanta Kumar today said his party had "deviated from value-based politics." Speaking to The Tribune, he said: "What pains me is the manner in which Opposition governments are being destabilised despite the fact that the BJP faces no challenge as the Congress, the main Opposition party, is on the verge of collapse."
Shanta Kumar, who has never hesitated to speak his mind, said Vajpayee believed in Gandhian socialism. — OC
