The state Transport Department will start providing all of its services at the click of a mouse from July 27. Be it grant or renewal of permit, registration of vehicle, vehicle model approval or issues related to taxation, etc., people will be able to do it from the comfort of their homes. "We will run a pilot project in two districts ndash; Shimla and Kangra ndash; for 15 to 20 days to find and fix any loopholes from July 27. I am glad we will be the first in the country to have all our facilities online," said Transport Director Capt JM Pathania. — TNS
