Coronavirus: Lonavla closed as a precaution till March 31; Private businesses in rural areas are still open
Lonavla: City of Lonavla will be closed until March 31 as a precautionary measure to prevent the outbreak of coronary infectious diseases and health of the citizens, said city president Surekha Jadhav, deputy president Sridhar Pujari and chief officer Sachin Pawar.
Special precautions are being taken in Pune and Mumbai areas including Maharashtra, Maharashtra due to the increasing prevalence of infectious diseases. Pune collector Naval Kishore Ram has recently instructed the local administration to take precautions to ensure that no more than five persons will be assembled in one order. Lonavla city is a central tourist destination and tourists come from all over the country including Mumbai Pune. The tourists are taking precautions to avoid corona infection in Lonavla cities.
